Regular Board Meetings are open to the public.

Regular Board Meetings are held in the Forum of the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre (PCTC) at 7:00 pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month during the 2012/13 school year, with a couple of exceptions:  the December Regular Board meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012; and the  March meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, March 12th due to Spring Break.

There is no Regular Board Meeting in July. 

In a civic election year, when school trustees are elected, an Inaugural Board Meeting is held in early December.  2014 is a civic election year and there will be an Inaugural Board Meeting held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.

Annual Public Budget Meetings

During the month of February, Trustees and members of senior staff will be holding a Public Budget Information Session to share information about the budget process and preliminary indications of anticipated fiscal challenges.  Participants will be invited to provide the Board with ideas about priorities for district budget planning.  Once a date has been determined for the Public Budget Information Session, it will be advertised on the district web-site, in school newsletters and in local media. 

Special Budget Board Meetings will also be scheduled for dicussion of the preliminary budget for the coming school year. Once those dates have been determined, they will also be advertised on the district web-site, in school newsletters and in local media.
