Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children, Shell Canada, Thrifty Foods and School District 69 partnered to purchase and fill over 300 backpacks with educational books and toys.

These BLT Backpacks are available for children to borrow for free when they visit Mother Goose sites and the WOW Bus.

Each backpack has a theme (farm animals, for example) and contains a picture book, and a toy or game that parents and children can enjoy together at home, then bring back and exchange for another backpack on the next visit.
