Of the 80 credits needed for graduation, at least 16 credits must be at the Grade 12 level, including a Grade 12 Language Arts course and 12 other credits.  These may be from Required Courses or Elective Credits (see table above for ways to earn elective credits).

2012 - 2013 Grad Planner Available Online
The Grad Planner is a Ministry-produced document prepared for students entering the Graduation Program.  The document outlines graduation requirements, means of getting graduation credit, and provides information about Graduation Program exams as well as funding post-secondary education.  The Grad Planner also contains numerous links to websites with helpful information.
English and French versions of the 2012/13 Grad Planner are now available on the Ministry Graduation Program website at http://www.bced.gov.bc.ca/graduation/grad_certificate.htm.
