Vision & Mission

    Our Vision

Each learner is the center of our world. We are a collaborative, connected, and dynamic community of support, where individual growth and global citizenship is celebrated.

    Our Mission

The Collaborative Education Alternative Program is a distributed learning school providing flexible education choices to a diverse group of learners in British Columbia.  Our learning environment combines the use of Information & Communications Technology, best teaching practices and enriching experiences. Students will be supported through the collaboration of teachers, parents, and community, and will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to become competent, responsible and compassionate global citizens.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a BC Ministry of Education-licensed Distributed Learning Program, we are dedicated to supporting all learners, spanning all grades (K - 12) and including adult learners. We are a blended-program school, able to offer face-to-face activities and support, to complement our online services. We offer educational guidance, instruction and resource support, respecting and valuing collaboration between all those who support our students’ learning. The CEAP program framework adheres to the Ministry of Education directives for Distributed Learning Programs.
