Our Grade 4 and 5 program focuses on expanding reading, writing and numeracy foundation of the primary program, with an inclusion of Science and Social Studies curriculum. The program includes

Enjoyment of writing for a variety of purposes (stories, book studies, letters, journals, poetry, reports…).

“Read to learn” (fiction, non-fiction, magazines, novel series, websites…)
- Social Studies, exploring Canada (mapping, geography, natural resources, First Nations, immigration, provinces).

Science, with topics including sustainibility, habitats and communities, light and sound and weather, human body, forces, simple machines, and renewable & non-renewable resources.
