Options for Adult Learning at CEAP

Recent changes to the BC Adult Learning policy and options for Adult Learning BC public schools (such as CEAP) are described on the BC Ministry of Education web site under the heading "Adult Learning."

Options include:

Adult Graduation Diploma Program

Adult learners (18 and older) can enroll through CEAP to take courses leading towards their Adult Graduation Diploma. There are no fees, other than refundable learning resource deposits attached to this enrolment.

Graduated Students Course Upgrades

Students who have graduated, but who are not yet 19 yrs. of age (as of July 1), can enrol in specific courses, to upgrade for post-secondary programs. Eligible courses include English Language Arts, Mathematics and Science 11/12 level courses. There are no fees, other than refundable learning resource deposits attached to this enrolment.

Adult Graduated Students

Students who have graduated, but who are 19 yrs. of age (as of July 1) may enrol in courses, but are charged tuition fees to take courses at CEAP, through School District 69. These students are also required to pay a one-time student fee and some course may require resource deposits.

  • Tuition per 4-credit course - $400 per course (Payable to SD69)
  • CEAP Students Fees - $50 per year (Payable to CEAP)
  • Learning Resources Deposit - $75 per applicable course (Refundable – payable to CEAP)
