The Role of the School Planning Council

To assist in the preparation of the annual School Growth Plan & to consult with all groups within the school community

To assist the school principal in monitoring the effective implementation of the school's Annual Growth Plan.

To Consult with the School Board and / or Board's designate regarding:
- The boards allocation of staff & resources to the school.
- Matters contained within the District Performance Agreement that
-
Relate to the school.
- Educational services & programmes provided to & with the school.

Parent & teacher SPC representatives are elected annually in September
-
Meet approximately 4- 6 times per year
-
Meetings are open to ALL members of the school community & advertised through the schools newsletter
