NBES School Planning Council
The Role of the School Planning Council [SPC] is:
- To assist in the preparation of the annual School Growth Plan & to consult with all groups within the school community
- To assist the school principal in monitoring the effective implementation of the school's Annual Growth Plan
- To Consult with the School Board and / or Board's designate regarding:
- The boards allocation of staff & resources to the school.
- Matters contained within the District Performance Agreement that relate to the school.
- Educational services & programmes provided to & with the school.
- Parent & teacher SPC representatives are elected annually in September
- Meet approximately 4- 6 times per year
- Meetings are open to ALL members of the school community & advertised through the schools newsletter & on the parent information board outside the office. Minutes of meetings are also posted in this location.
