Grade 5 students are given the opportunity to be involved in a number of leadership activities throughout the school year. Students may be involved in Playground Leaders. Workshops on peer conflict resolution and assertiveness are conducted from time to time. Walking field trips to local seniors centers are a highlight with both students and residents.
