Dear QBES Families,

I hope you all had an enjoyable summer and found time to enjoy the great weather.  Thank-you for your patience and understanding as we work on organizing the school to meet the new ministry guidelines.   

• Family Survey:  The district sent out a survey to families on Friday, August 21^st asking for information about your re-turn to school plan for September.  If you completed the survey the school will receive the information and it will help us in our planning.  If you did not receive or complete the survey we would appreciate hearing from you about your child's plan for September. qualicumbeach@sd69.bc.ca

• Schedule for the week of September 7^th (Grade 1 to 7)
• September 7^th – Labour Day (No students in session)
• September 8^th and 9^th – School Planning  (No students in session)
• September 10 and 11^th – Students will only attend one of these days.
• Thursday, September 10^th – Last names that begin with A to L attend on this day
• Friday, September 11^th - Last names that begin with M to Z attend on this day
• Monday, September 14^th – All grade 1 to 7 students attend.
  
   
• Class Placement for September:  On Tuesday, September 8^th families will receive an email with your child's homeroom teacher for the 2020 – 2021 school year.
  
   
• Supply Lists:  Will be either emailed on September 8^th or given to the students on September 10^th or 11^th. 

Kindergarten Students

• Week of September 7^th – no school for kindergarten students.
• Week of September 14^th
• Monday, September 14^th – Group 1 @ 9:15 to 11:15 and Group 2 @ 12:00 – 2:00
• Tuesday, September 15^th – Group 1 @ 9:15 to 11:15 and Group 2 @ 12:00 – 2:00
• Wednesday, September 16^th – 9:15 to 11:15 - All kindergarten students attend
• Starting on Monday, August 31^st the office will call with your child's schedule and answer any questions.
• Thursday, September 17^th – District Planning Day (Students do not attend)
• Friday, September 18^th – Professional Development Day (Students do not attend)
• Monday, September 21^st –  full day for all kindergarten students
