At SMS, students may access a range of supports to be successful adolescent learners.  Staff services include a Youth Care Worker, a Counselor, Learning Support Teachers, and Education Assistants. Students who require specific supports may meet with the counselor to discuss their uniqueness and make a plan to work toward successful independence as a middle school student.  Additional supports are offered in classrooms in collaboration with classroom-based teachers in partnership with the Student Support Services staff of SMS.
