Winchelsea Elementary is located in Qualicum School District on the east coast of Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada. We are a school of approx 285 students in grade(s) kindergarten to grade 5. Our school is organized into 12 divisions, 2 of which are multi-graded classrooms.  In addition to classroom teachers, we have a number of special education staff comprised of learning resource teachers, a speech and language therapist and 2 itinerant district program managers working with students with special needs. In addition to enrolling students in our catchment area, we run an international student program in which a small number of Korean students join us for both short and long term periods during the school year.
