GRADS – Reminder of the first grad fee that is now overdue. Payments can be made via cash or cheque at the office or through school cash online.

ALSO, GRADS – We are looking for some SOS Grad wear models for this year's promotional poster.  Hoping for 5-6 grads to try on some grad wear, strut your stuff and just saying... there were doughnuts last year too!  If you are interested and want more information - see Nikki in the HUB.  The grad wear program you will promoting offers the complete ensemble for only $5! 

FROM THE LEARNING COMMONS – The Coffee Card Challenge is back! Come by the Learning Commons any day this week to perform a 'skill testing maneuver' to get your name in the draw for a $10 gift card. All attempts get you an entry! Draw will be made next Monday.

THIS WEEK'S BLACK HISTORY MONTH SPOTLIGHT –Did you know Lizzo is a classically trained musician, having studied at the University of Houston and specializing in playing the flute. Her flute has taken on its own identity, its name is Sasha Flute, inspired by Beyoncé's alter ego Sasha Fierce. Want to learn more about Lizzo? Visit the Black History Month Board in the foyer.

MATH CONTEST REMINDER – All grade 9-11 students who signed up for the Pascal, Cayley and Fermat math contests are reminded to come to room 303 Wednesday February 22 at 8:30 am.

BALLENAS GUYS GROUP – The Guys Group meets in the Band Room (Rm. 914) today at lunch. Guys Group brings together students, teachers, and mentors for some free pizza and a place to chat and listen to each other. Please see Mr. Kellas, Mr. Quinn, Mr. Townsend, Mr. Bambrough, or Mr. Wyllie if you have any questions about Guys Group. 

Gathering interest for a Parkour/Gymnastics group during FLEX Wednesdays after Spring Break.  Please sign your name on the sheet in the HUB if you are interested and Nikki will connect with you once there is more info.  

“Little Mermaid the musical" opens on Valentine's Day Feb 14 and runs for 6 nights starting at 6PM and it is only $5 for students! Come and see what's happening under the sea!"  

WHALERS FOOTBALL – Off Season Training has started! It runs here at Ballenas from 3:30-5 every Monday Tuesday, and Thursday. Come by after school if you are interested in playing Football."
