​The district is pleased to announce that Lesley LaCouvee, who is currently serving as Acting Vice Principal at Ballenas Secondary will serve as Vice Principal at Bowser Elementary School with responsibility for False Bay School on Lasqueti Island.  Ms. LaCouvee began her career in SD69 in 1995 as a teacher at Oceanside Middle School and also did stints at Winchelsea Elementary and CEAP.  This past summer she served as Principal for the District 69 Summer School.  We know that her passion, energy and caring for students will add a great deal to this new work that she will be taking on in the upcoming year.
