​​We wanted to share some information on access to dental benefits for families.  The newest program, the Interim Canada Dental Benefit took effect as of December 1, 2022.  Eligible families are those with children 12 years old or younger, no access to private dental insurance, and make $90,000 or less a year.  The first benefit period is for children under 12 years old as of December 1, 2022 who received dental care between October 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.  Families can apply online or by phone.  Here are some helpful tools and resourced to answer your questions about the interim Canada Dental Benefit and to better equip you to help families understand what is available to them.
