PLEASE NOTE:  The Board of Education is considering school catchment changes which may affect September registrations for Springwood, Oceanside and Nanoose Bay Elementary Schools; therefore, while you might register in what is currently noted as your catchment area school, that may change.  Once the Board has made any decisions, and if your child’s registration is affected, you will be contacted to advise which school your child will be attending.  A Virtual Town Hall is planned for Wednesday, January 14th at 6:00 p.m. for the Board to review and discuss options and obtain feedback from the community. ​​​Our district will be using the MyEdBC on-line registration process for in-coming 2026-2027 Kindergarten students only.  

Grades 1-12 registration must be arranged through the child's catchment school. Registration form is available under Brochures and Forms.

Things you will need for Registration:

• valid email address
• proof of child's age and citizenship (scan or photo)
• proof of residency (scan or photo)*
  
• most recent progress (report) cards (if applicable)
  
• additional documents may be required
