Regular Board Meetings are open to the public.
Regular Board Meetings are held at 6:00 pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month during the school year, with the following exceptions: the December Regular Board meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024; and, the March Regular Board Meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
There is no Regular Board Meeting in July.
In a civic election year, when school trustees are elected the term of office begins on the first Monday after November 1. The next civic election will be held in October 2026 and the Inaugural Meeting will be held on November 8, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Forum of the Parksville Civic & Technology Centre (Board Office Building).
Annual Public Budget Meetings
In the new calendar year, the Board of Education and Senior Staff will be holding one or more Public Budget Information Meetings to share information about the budget process and preliminary indications of anticipated fiscal challenges. Participants will be invited to provide the Board with ideas about priorities for district budget planning.
