Bylaws are the set of rules a Board of Education creates and agrees to that define how it will conduct business.

Policies are the Board of Education’s belief statements that guide the work of the organization.  Setting and updating policy is one of the main functions of a Board. 

Administrative Procedures provide the primary details required to operationalize Board policies. These are the work of staff; however, changes will be brought to the Board prior to activation.
