​DPAC is the Qualicum School District's District Parent Advisory Council.  The Executive of DPAC consists of volunteers who are elected by the DPAC School Representatives. Each school in the District sends representatives to DPAC and will have one vote per school where matters of interest to parents across the District are discussed.   School Board Administration and Trustees are also invited to our meetings.

DPAC's purpose is to support, encourage and improve all schools and school programs in the District and to ensure that public education serves the best interests of all students. We are proud to support Parent Advisory Councils (PACs) and parents in accessing the school system at all levels. We provide a regular forum for the exchange of ideas and information among our PACs. We are members in good standing of the British Columbia Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils (BCCPAC).

DPAC also maintains an ongoing liaison with our PACs, BCCPAC, School Board, Senior Staff, education partners, Teachers, Principals, Support Staff, and the Ministry of Education.

DPAC Representatives are elected by their school PAC, and are responsible for keeping the flow of information going both ways between their PAC and DPAC.
