All schools in the Qualicum School District (QSD) have a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and all parents/caregivers, who have a child at the school, are part of the PAC.
Meetings are the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm in the BSS Learning Commons (Library).
Following guidelines set out by the BC School Act and BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Council (BCCPAC), our purpose is to promote, support and advance meaningful parent/caregiver participation throughout the public education system and to advocate for the success of all students.

Attached is the agenda to this week's PAC Meeting at 6:30pm Thursday, October 10th.
Highlights this month include:
- CPF Poinsettia Fundraiser
- Prom Updates
- Volleyball Tournament
- Resources for Parents from SST: Safer Schools Together
I asked ChatGPT to give me reasons why people should attend PAC meetings....here's the winner for best result: :O)))
"Bragging Rights – Attending PAC meetings automatically makes you a superhero in the parenting/caregiver world. Plus, you'll have endless reasons to tell your kids, "I know more about your school than you think!"

If anyone needs another reason to attend their 1st or 42nd PAC Meeting...this week we get a field trip to see the new BSS Change Rooms and Socialization Area!
To attend the PAC Meeting: (all parents/caregivers with a student at BSS are invited...bring little ones, it's all good, we are a casual bunch)
- Walk into the BSS front doors, walk straight, then turn left and come join us in the Learning Commons (Library).
- The Principal/Administration will give us a tour and an update on all things BSS.
- Stay for the whole meeting or just enjoy the tour!
Have a great week!
