Parent Advisory Council

​Parent voices are a tremendous asset to their child's school.  PACs strive to represent the diversity within their school community and contribute to the benefit of their students by providing opportunities to educate and inform parents about the school and involving parents in volunteer activities.

MUNCHALUNCH

  • We are using a platform called MunchaLunch for ordering hot lunches, Bagel Cards and to support other PAC fundraisers.
  • NEW families can register here: https://munchalunch.com/schools/oceanside
  • RETURNING families can login to their existing account here: https://munchalunch.com/login
    • Once you are logged in, you will be asked to link your child to their current teacher/grade.

HOT LUNCH

  • Our Hot Lunch Team is ready to start serving up some fun! 
  • Ordering is now open through munchalunch
  • First hot lunch will be Thursday, September 25. Deadline to order is Thursday, September 18.
  • Ordering deadline: 11.59 pm the week before each hot lunch. For example: the first hot lunch is on September 25, so orders must be placed by September 18 at 11.59 pm.
  • Contact us: If you need to reach the Hot Lunch Team, please email OEShotlunch@gmail.com 
    • If your child is absent on hot lunch day, you can email the Hot Lunch team or contact the school office to have their meal sent to the office for pickup.
  • Food Support: If your family needs support with food or school fees, please reach out to our principal, Ms. Nichols. Our school also has a lunch program, bagel cafe, snacks in the office and can refer families to the Hands and Hearts Food Program (formerly known as the Backpack Program).
  • A big thank you to Tiffany and Emily who have been working hard to line up all the moving parts (vendors, online ordering, volunteers) to make this happen for our school.

BAGEL CAFE

  • Bagel Café is returning the week of September 15!
  • Our amazing parent volunteers will be serving warm toasted bagels with margarine, cream cheese, or jam to help start the day off right.
  • Soft Launch Week (Sept. 15–19)  
    • Bagels will be FREE September 15-19 as we ease back into the routine.
  • Bagel Cards
    • Starting September 22, bagels can be purchased with a Bagel Card.
    • Bagel cards are $37 per card. Cards are good for the entire school year and can be used as often as Bagel Cafe is open.
    • There is a family cap of $74, so no family needs to pay more than $74 to access the program. If you have more than two children, please sign up two children on munchalunch and then email us at eoespac69@gmail.com to request additional cards for the remaining students at no cost.
    • Bagel card are available through munchalunch
  • Food Support
    • Students enrolled in the school food program will receive a Bagel Card at no cost.

  • Serving Details
    • Location: Multipurpose Room (MPR), to the left of the front entrance.
    • Time: 8:30–8:55 am
    • Late Arrivals: A few bagels will be left in the office for kids who arrive late.
