At Nanoose Bay Elementary we learn by doing and thereby develop independent, curious, self-advocating learners.
As per ministry requirements cell phones are no longer allowed in schools. We understand their may be special circumstances that a student may need a device while in class. These will be discussed on a case by case basis. If parents and students are needing to communicate throughout the day students and parents are always welcome to call using school landlines.
Support Mrs. Burke and Mrs. Smith's classes with their year-end field trip! Simply drop off your empty bottles at NBES bus loop on May 1st, between 8AM and 4PM. No sorting needed-just place them in a clear plastic bag! All funds raised will go directly to classrooms.
As we plan for 2025/26 school year, we're hosting a cheque drive from May 5 to 22nd to raise funds for classroom supplies, field trips, guest speakers, and special projects. This drive is a great opportunity for those unable to volunteer their time to still contribute. Every donation, big or small, will directly support our classrooms and enhance our students learning experiences.
