Qualicum School District is diverse in both its people and environment. The economy is based on small business, tourism and resource industries. Residents and visitors enjoy the mild climate and outdoor activities offered by beaches, forests, mountains, golf courses and lakes. Arts abound with live theatre, concerts, art galleries, and writers' groups. There is a large retirement population as well as young families that are drawn to the area and it's amenities.
The Qualicum School District communities include: Bowser, Coombs, Errington, Lasqueti Island, Nanoose Bay, City of Parksville, Town of Qualicum Beach and Whiskey Creek. By accessing the wealth of knowledge and resources in the community, School District 69 works with a variety of community members, organizations, and agencies to support our shared work of caring for children and their families.
