​The Board of Education is seeking information from our parents in order to determine what interest there may be in introducing a Late French Immersion (LFI) program in our district.

If your child is entering Grade 6 in September 2017, they are eligible to express their interest in enrolling in the Late French Immersion program and join those who graduate from secondary school with Bilingual Dogwood Certificates.

You, and your eligible child, are invited to attend an information meeting for parents and students at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Oceanside Elementary School (980 Wright Road, Parksville) to hear more about this exciting opportunity.

"Expressions of Intent to Register for Grade 6 Late French Immersion" will be collected over the next several weeks.  Pending sufficient interest, Late French Immersion could be introduced in our district as early as September 2017.
