Oceanside Elementary School is a dual track school that has more than 450 students in attendance in Kindergarten to Grade 7, including French Immersion classes. A dual-track school is a school where two strands of learners are educated in either English or French, with opportunities throughout each week to interact between the strands.
Oceanside Elementary School was opened in September of 1993, as one of three middle schools in School District 69 (Qualicum), and in September 2014 was reconfigured into its present elementary structure. It is located at the intersections of Wright Road, Wembley Road and Highway19A West and a short walk to the Salish Sea (Strait of Georgia).
