Documentation Required for Enrolment

​DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION ELIGIBILITY​

NOTE: Documents examined at the time of enrolment and are only ARCHIVED as required by the Ministry of Education, as evidence of students’ funding eligibility. 

PROOF OF STATUS in CANADA

Applicant under 19 years of age: Required of custodial parent and applicant - ONE of:

  • Canadian birth certificate, passport, Canadian citizenship card,
  • Canadian permanent resident card, or parent’s work permit.

Adult Applicant (over 19 years of age) - ONE of:

Canadian birth certificate, Canadian passport, Canadian citizenship card, or Canadian permanent residence card.

PROOF OF RESIDENCY in BRITISH COLUMBIA

Please provide:

  • BC Driver’s License, BC CareCard, utility bill, or letter from landlord (not tenant) attesting to residency.

 

If not available, please provide ONE of the following:

Tenancy agreement, property purchase agreement, mortgage papers, or income tax statement. All MUSTshow name and address.
For example, the following combination of documents satisfies registration requirements for an applicant under 19 years of age: Parent’s birth certificate, child’s birth certificate, parent’s BC CareCard and parent’s BC Driver’s License.

You will not be officially registered in a course until you provide documentation proving your eligibility as outlined above.  You can provide us with your documentation in one of the following ways:

  1. Attach electronic versions to the application form or an email, or bring your documentation into our office at 266 Village Way, qualicum Beach, BC. at the time of your first meeting with the teacher.
  2. Mail a copy of your documentation to CEAP Learning Center, Box 1000, Qualicum Beach, B.C.,
