Learning Links

On this page are links to many resources useful for parents and students involved in home schooling . You will find that these resources  fit into three categories, as far as access is concerns:

1. They are exclusive to those students registered into the CEAP Program.

2. Parents or students can purchase access on their own.

3. They are free.

These resources are updated periodically. Send recommendations to ceap@sd69.bc.ca. The Collaborative Education Alternative Program (CEAP) or School District 69 Qualicum makes no warranty for these resources. USe at your own discretion. Resources for CEAP Students:

CEAP provides students with access to the online applications and learning portals listed below, most of which will require a username and password. Contact your program teacher if you experience problems accessing or logging in.

Daily Physical Activity - Track your Daily Physical Activity (DPA) online using LearnNowBC's DPA Tracker. Using this tool, you can record your activity and then create and print a report.

Tutoring - Here you are able to access free tutoring services in 21 subjects from Grades 9 to 12. Services offered for these subject areas include “Live Tutor”, “Live Workshop”, “StudyBUZZ” and “Charged up for Math and Science”.

Young Learning Centre - Fun, interactive games and activities for young learners. Designed by early literacy and special needs experts, the Edmark House Series introduces early learners to reading, math, science, and useful skills like telling time.
