FROM THE LIBRARY: Just a reminder that all textbooks for semester courses are due January 25th. You will be unable to sign out semester 2 textbooks if you haven't returned your semester 1 textbooks. Early returns are much appreciated where possible!


Anyone in grade 8-11 planning on or interested in playing football this year needs to come to a lunch meeting on Monday in Mr. Conn's room 909 starting at 11:31 to talk about the upcoming workouts, registration, spring football and 2019 Fall Season.  If you have any questions see Mr. Conn ASAP


Junior Girls Basketball - Meeting in room 904 at lunch on Friday, Jan.18th. ALL PLAYERS MUST ATTEND! 


Reminder to those that are joining the Outdoor Pursuits students on any of the ski trips, your permission form and money are due Friday January 18th.  Please bring them to room 801


Music Students who are signed up for the Edmonton Trip - Please have your second payment of $200.00 in to Mr. Kellas by Friday this week. It can also be paid online. See Mr. Kellas is you have any questions!


Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition: The K of C Free throw competition will be happening here at Ballenas on Monday January 28 at lunch in the gym.  This is open to all students in grades 8-12 for both boys and girls.  The top 2 winners from each category will then have the opportunity to travel to KSS on  Wednesday, February 6 to participate in the District Championships.  For more information or if you have any questions please see Mr. Britz.


GRAD FASHION SHOW!  The fashion show will be on February 12th at 7 pm.  Sign-up sheets for models, concession, set up/take down and ticket takers at the door for the grad fashion show will be available in the main foyer on Monday, January 14th at lunch!  We need as many grads to volunteer as possible to make this a success.


GSA (Gender Sexuality Alliance) - GSA is a safe space for all students. We will be running after school every Wednesday in room 913. Come out and say hello. For more information come see Ms Campbell or Mr Oak. 


Drop in Volleyball - Morning volleyball drop in is starting up again every Friday at 7:30 am.  The first day back will be Friday, Jan.18th. 


JANUARY GRADS: your Grad Transitions are due by January 18th. Remember this needs to be completed in order to graduate.

Yearbooks are on sale now still only $45 including free personalization!! Pick up an order form in the office and return it with your payment to either Mr. Seidel in Room 202 or the Office.


BALLENAS AND GRAD STICKERS – will be sold every day at lunch in the main foyer.  $2, $3 & $4 each.  Come out and check them out.


FRENCH TUTORING? - French tutoring open to all at lunch every day the week in room 405


Bagel café - The bagel cafe is open every morning in room 803 from 8am till 8:40am.  Come in for a bagel or oatmeal, a piece of fruit and some juice! By donation! 


Popcorn every Wednesday $1.00


Freshly Baked Cinnamon Buns $1.00 each or with Cream Cheese Icing $1.50 each.  Sold every Wednesday.
