Grad fee payment #1 is now due (February 9th). You can pay all fees via school cash online or at the office with cash or cheque. Please see

Prom Date, Time, Location:
- BSS Prom 2024: Saturday, June 29th @ 4:30 PM - 12 AM, Jensen Centre, 132 Jensen Avenue East, (Formerly Parksville Community Centre)
- 3 PM - group photo at the Community Beach Park
- 4 PM - grad walk-through at Berwick Parksville Retirement Community (showcase the grads on their special day as a gesture of inclusion to the elderly members of their community)
- 4:30 PM - doors open at the venue (games begin)
- 6:30 PM - dinner
- 12 AM - doors close
- Guest tickets will be $125 and will go on sale later this month

The Parent Grad Committee is working hard to fundraise for the memorable prom event for our graduates.
If your family, your friends or your employer's business could kindly provide merchandise, gift baskets, monetary donations, or service/discount certificates - this would be an amazing help!
The business' sponsorship would be recognized on a large sign at the prom event, through social media, and in the school newsletter. Please let us know ASAP if you or someone you know can participate in fundraising efforts. Any donation, great or small, is very much appreciated!

- Golf Scrambler Meeting: Monday, April 15th @ 6:30 PM BSS Library (meeting chaired by Grad Committee Co-Chair Chrissy Greig). If you think you can volunteer your time on May 4th, please come! Grads are welcome to join too!
- Grad Committee Meeting: Monday, April 22nd @ 6:30 PM - 8 PM BSS Library (meeting chaired by: Grad Committee Co-Chairs, Andrea & Chrissy)
Ways to Contribute:
- See the fundraising opportunity message in email body above
- Come out to the bottle drive with your grad to help sort and/or bring bags of bottles/cans to donate
- Volunteer jobs - sign up to help at the golf fundraiser and/or for prom night
- (Watch for prom night volunteer positions to be posted for sign up in early June. Note: there will be many shifts all broken down into 3-hour intervals spanning from Friday, June 28th to Sunday, June 30th)

- Bottle Donation Fundraiser at the Parksville Bottle and Recycling Depot - use account: "Ballenas Grad 2024". Sort your bottles and THEN donate your earnings to our account.
