All schools in the Qualicum School District (QSD) have a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and all parents/caregivers, who have a child at the school, are part of the PAC.

Following guidelines set out by the BC School Act and BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Council (BCCPAC), our purpose is to promote, support and advance meaningful parent/caregiver participation throughout the public education system and to advocate for the success of all students.

• PAC MEETINGS are the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:00pm in the BSS Learning Commons (Library). (Check the school calendar for cancelled or rescheduled meetings)​​
  

Meeting Purpose: 

• Build relationships, share knowledge and create community
• Public meeting for all Parents/Caregivers with student(s) at BSS
• Opportunity to learn about Public Education and opportunities in Qualicum School District

Attendees:

• BSS PAC Executive Team
• BSS Administration - Principal and/or Vice Principal(s)
• BSS Parents/Caregivers (All are voting members of PAC)
• Guests as requested & required (Eg: Student Voice, Teachers, QSD Trustees)
